Connect JargonSync to ChatGPT
JargonSync's MCP server is available to all ChatGPT users, including Free users. If you’re using a ChatGPT organization subscription, an organization admin may need to enable or approve custom connectors before you can add JargonSync.
JargonSync works with any assistant that supports MCP connectors. Add it once and ChatGPT can read your glossary, correct your terms, and even add new ones for you, all from a normal chat.
Before you start
- •A JargonSync account with your glossary set up.
- •Your JargonSync server URL (below).
- •Connecting uses OAuth, so you sign in through JargonSync — you never paste an API key into ChatGPT.

Open Settings
Open your profile menu in ChatGPT, then select Settings.
- 2
Enable Developer Mode
In Settings, open Plugins. Select Developer mode, then make sure the Developer Mode toggle is turned on.

Use JargonSync in ChatGPT
Start a new chat and ask ChatGPT to use your glossary. For example:
Try it
“Read this meeting note and fix any of our terms it got wrong.”ChatGPT will check the text against your JargonSync glossary and suggest corrections.
